Powder dosing pump - LAMBDA DOSER

Lambda Doser powder dosing
SPECIFICATIONS:

Properties of the LAMBDA powder Doser

Capacity

About 200 ml (corresponding to 250 g NaCl, 200 g NaHCO3, 150 g sucrose). This capacity is optimal for most laboratory applications.

Rate of addition

From about 50 mg to 50 g NaCl/ min. The rate can be selected digitally in 1000 steps. The digital setting allows a good reproducibility of rate adjustments.

Assembling and cleaning

The powder dosing apparatus has been constructed for easy assembly and cleaning.

The powder doser can be coupled to all common glass apparatus having standardized grounded fittings NS 29/32 or carrying threaded connectors SVL. All parts coming into contact with chemicals are made of resistent materials.

Small dimensions

Special attention was paid to minimize the dimensions of all parts of the powder doser. The powder doser can be adapted easily to complex laboratory installations.

Robust

The construction in combination with high quality materials assure a long life of the powder doser.

Air tight

Several seals make the powder doser air-tight. Therefore it can be utilised with small over- or underpressure. The instrument can also be flushed with a neutral gas if it is necessary for a given reaction.

Economical

Automatic powder dosage frees technicians for other work. Due to better reproducibility and elimination of errors the number of experiments can be reduced. Excellent priceto quality ratio.

Remote control

The speed of addition can be remote controlled over the whole range by applying a voltage of 0 to 1 V. ON/OFF control through an external contact or 12 V signal.

Quantification

The powder doser can be connected to the flow integrator, which allows quantification of the amount of solids added as a function of time. This is of importance when the powder doser is controlled by a controller (eg. pH-stat, thermostat , etc.)
